G’day!
I’m Ryan and thank you for stopping by my webpage. It’s still a bit of a mess and please bear with me while the dust clears. I’m still settling in here and making myself home. Feel free to grab a paint brush, or some spackle or a wrench perhaps? Maybe you could hammer me? Making construction this dirty shouldn’t be so hard!
Lets back up a little as to who I am. My friends call me “Roo” and you are invited to as well (Ryan works as well if Roo seems a little too cutesy). The tagline to this blog is “A View From Down Under”. There’s a double meaning there; my mind is sometimes down in the gutter, but I’ve also had the luck of growing up in Australia and now live in the land of fruits and nuts; Los Angeles.
My views are a mix of both places. I’ve tried to grasp onto my Aussie upbringing and the simpler way of life and laid-back attitude. That can pose a bit of a problem in the hustle and bustle of LA, and I’ve picked up a few traits from there as well. I like to consider myself a “hybrid” of both.
The point of this blog is to share with you my adventures living here in the “States”. I enjoy surfing and love cars, so I’m happy to share my opinions on those. I’m a single (ahem….very single) young gay guy, so there’s a few points that I like sharing about that. And of course, the occasional cultural conflict here in America (darn tipping!).
